Simple! Because we’re not trained conservators! We don’t claim to be! Besides, one little slip on an original photo and it’s gone! We work on a scanned copy, at a 300 - 700%
enlargement of the effected area, one pixel at a time. That way, you have a copy that looks as good (better!) then the original, plus, you still have the original!
Our pledge to you is to treat your photographs as if they were our own - with the utmost care and attention. Literally, the white glove treatment. Once your photoghaphs (originals or scans) reach our studio - this is where they will remain. We never work on the original photograph! We do all our work in house, we never send it out! Our personal attention is given to each and every detail!
Restored photographs will be sent to you on CD's. In addition to our restoration services, we also offer scanning & archiving of important documents (old or new). Historical articles & photographs can also be placed on CD's or made ready for framing.
